Ferguson received a fellowship to work with the Washington Pigtown Village Neighborhood Planning Council to organize local residents in planning, designing, and creating large-scale community arts projects. Based on themes inspired by local history, the arts projects are designed to counteract the negative effects of abandoned and neglected properties.
