Gin’s fellowship helped her launch Wide Angle Community Media, an organization dedicated to providing media education resources to Baltimore City youth and communities so that they may represent themselves and tell their own stories. Gin developed partnerships with neighborhood organizations to conduct media literacy and production workshops, coordinated public events to promote community-made media, and co-founded the Youth Media Advocacy Coalition.
