In honor of Lois Blum Feinblatt, OSI-Baltimore and the Lois and Irving Blum Foundation have created the Lois Blum Feinblatt Community Mental Health Fellowship as part of OSI-Baltimore’s Community Fellowships Program. This fellowship will honor Lois’s 60+ year career as a social worker and mental health counselor. Lois’s life is a testament to her belief that individuals, families, and our community are at our best when we are deeply connected with one another.
The Lois Blum Feinblatt Community Mental Health Fellowship will support initiatives to help community members live as happily and productively as possible. Amid the ongoing traumas of the Covid-19 pandemic and the racial reckoning that has resulted from killings of Black people by police, the fellowship is intended to help Baltimore and Baltimoreans’ well-being.
