10 East Mt. Vernon Place, Baltimore
Please join us as we welcome 100 women, walking 100 miles from an immigration detention center in Pennsylvania to Washington, DC, as they pass through Baltimore, for an evening of dialogue and celebration. These courageous women are on the frontlines, speaking out against injustice and leading change in their communities, in Baltimore and across the country. Their pilgrimage is intended to underscore the need for comprehensive immigration reform and the end of mass incarceration, including of immigrants.
The event is co-sponsored by Open Society Institute-Baltimore, We Belong Together, Mt Vernon Place United Methodist Church, CASA, and the Maryland State Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO.
