With Taylor Branch and Leslie King-Hammond, PhD
Moderated by Judge Andre Davis
Join us for a provocative discussion in conjunction with “The In and Outsiders,” an exhibition curated by Myrtis Bedolla, which includes the work of three renowned Baltimore artists, all of them African American: Thomas (Tom) Miller (1945-2000), Anderson (Andy) Pigatt (1928-2009) and Elizabeth T. Scott (1916-2011). All of their works incorporate many elements, vivid imagery and intense color—but they also touch upon African mythology, folklore and culture. They serve as a source of social commentary and racial pride.
SEATING IS LIMITED TO 70.
RSVP by March 19th.
