Our 2011 cohort of Baltimore Community Fellows will soon become alumni. They’ve achieved great things during their 18-month fellowships—stabilizing and growing a community health center in East Baltimore, founding a youth drop-in center in Old Goucher, expanding urban farms and building alliances with urban farmers across the city, ensuring immigrants and non-citizens are represented in the justice system, and much more.
Our 2012 cohort are well into their projects, and have benefited from shared experience and advice from the 130+ Fellows that came before them. We will update you on the 2012 cohort’s progress over the next few months.
And, we’re happy to report that by this year’s application deadline, our mailbox was absolutely stuffed with proposals, which will be reviewed and narrowed to eventually result in another visionary group of social entrepreneurs, ready to hit the ground running to create change in their neighborhoods in 2013.
Support the Fellows and join us in creating real change.
