In 2021, OSI-Baltimore partnered with Baltimore’s Promise to conceive and facilitate the B’More Invested initiative, an innovative model of community-led grantmaking designed to address and reverse the legacy of under-investment in BIPOC-led organizations, leaders, and communities. As the initial investment and demonstration phase of the initiative wound down in 2022, OSI-Baltimore allocated additional resources to ensure that support tapered off responsibly and that grantees had sufficient resources to explore and develop options for sustainability.
