Yesterday, WYPR’s Out of the Blocks, which profiles people living and working on different city blocks, focused on the PCARE Van, which the Behavioral Health Leadership Institute operates with support from Open Society Institute-Baltimore. OSI’s support for the van is part of the Addiction and Health Equity program’s strategy to reduce overdose by increasing access to treatment in settings where overdoses are most common, including jails, prisons, and emergency rooms.
