This week, WBFF featured 2016 OSI Community Fellow Melissa Badeker and her project, Baltimore Teacher Supply Swap, an organization that collects unused school supplies from teachers and gets them into the hands of other instructors and educators who can use them.
Badeker and co-founder Kathleen Williams started the swap in part because they had so many unused supplies at the end of each school year that were wasted.
Last year, Badeker and the Swap were featured on Mike Rowe’s Returning the Favor. Learn more about the program in our Impact Series.
