University of Maryland, Francis King Carey School of Law’s Black Law Students Association (BLSA) has selected Open Society Institute-Baltimore to receive its annual Diversity Award, “presented to an organization in the greater Baltimore-Washington, DC area that advances diversity and inclusion of attorneys in the legal profession.”
“As students who wish to have a positive impact on their community, we applaud Open Society Institute – Baltimore for providing innovative ways for the Baltimore community to receive the legal resources they need,” the BLSA said in a statement about the award.
The BLSA will officially present the award BLSA at its 48th Annual Scholarship and Awards Banquet on Friday, February 24th.
