This week, 2019 OSI Baltimore Community Fellow, Ana Temple Rodney and her organization, MOMCares, are featured in a campaign highlighting the Black maternal health crisis that can be seen on the Baltimore LED Art Board (both Rodney and her son make an appearance!). Rodney established MOMCares to provide post-partum doula care for under-supported mothers with NICU experience in Baltimore City. Rodney’s own post-partum health crisis experience after the birth of her first child, who spent six months in the NICU.
Not to be left out, Rodney’s second child made their debut on April 13, just in time to see mom’s. Congratulations to Ana and her growing family!
