This Monday, August 31st is International #OverdoseAwarenessDay and OSI, the Baltimore City Health Department, and other local organizations will be hosting events to raise awareness throughout the next week.
On Thursday at 11am the Health Department will host a conversation with Westside YO! on youth and opioids. On Friday at 10:30am, Scott Nolen, director of OSI’s Addiction and Health Equity Program joins the Black Mental Alliance for a conversation called “What’s COVID got to do with it?” On Monday, the Health Department will host an outdoor demonstration and art gallery at 10am at the YNOT Lot on Charles St. and North Ave., where the posters above will be on display.
