On Wednesday night, 22 candidates for Mayor of Baltimore City participated in the first Blueprint for Baltimore Mayoral Forum, moderated by WYPR’s Tom Hall and Lisa Snowden-McCray of the Baltimore Beat and the Real News Network. All of the questions were based on responses to the Blueprint for Baltimore survey, which asked thousands of Baltimore residents to name their priorities for city leadership.
The Real News Network livestreamed the event (watch part one and part two) and it was covered extensively by the Baltimore Sun, the Baltimore Brew, WMAR, and Fox 45. You can also read the Sun’s previous stories about the Baltimore for Baltimore survey results and the project in general.
On March 18th, OSI-Baltimore will co-host the Blueprint for Baltimore City Council President Forum with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and the Junior League (register here), and on April 14th, OSI-Baltimore and the Stoop Storytelling Series will co-host another Mayoral Forum at the War Memorial Building (registration link coming soon).
