Last week, Al Jazeera television aired a segment on the opioid crisis which Baltimore. The piece featured the Project Connections at Re-Entry (PCARE) mobile treatment van, which the Behavioral Health Leadership Institute operates with support from Open Society Institute-Baltimore. The van parks regularly outside the Baltimore Central Booking and Intake center in order to help those with substance use disorders receive treatment as they leave.
The van was also recently featured on WYPR’s Out of the Blocks.
