This Friday, Baltimore Under Ground Science Space (BUGSS) will host 2018 OSI Community Fellow Eric Fishel for “Urban Ecology for Community Engagement.” Fishel will talk about his fellowship, Baltimore Foodparks, which is a project that aims to improve vacant lots in Southeast Baltimore, conduct scientific research, and help conserve Baltimore’s greenspace and wildlife all while educating and engaging communities.
