OSI-Baltimore grantee, Wide Angle Youth Media will host a curriculum training in May entitled “Why Black Lives Matter: Discussing Race Through Film, Photography, and Design.” The training is designed to teach educators how to use the curriculum through an interactive, hands-on approach. While WYAM is looking for 15 Baltimore City School teachers to attend, the session is open to others as well on a first-come, first-served basis. More details are available here.
Wide Angle Youth Media was founded by 2001 OSI Community Fellow Gin Ferrara to provide media education resources to Baltimore City youth and communities so that they may represent themselves and tell their own stories.
