Scott Nolen, director of OSI-Baltimore’s Addiction and Health Equity program, was interviewed last week by Comcast Newsmakers and will be featured in February as part of a Black History Month series of African-American leaders discussing issues confronting African-American communities. Nolen, pictured on the set with host Tetiana Anderson, discussed the ways OSI-Baltimore is working to counter steep increases in opioid dependence and overdose, both of which disproportionately impact African-American communities, and how that work can be used to inform similar work around the country.
Comcast Newsmakers is a national news and public affairs platform focused on issue-based conversations available on-demand in all markets served by Comcast and on-line. We will post a link to the interview when it is posted.
