Last week, Open Society Foundations announced that Tom Perriello, a former member of the U.S. Congress, diplomat, educator, and activist, will be the new executive director of U.S. Programs.
OSI-Baltimore is Open Society Foundations’ only U.S. field office and the work done here is meant to inform the priorities and strategies of the national work. In his initial conversation with staff, Perriello signaled his ongoing commitment to local work and cooperation between the organization’s offices.
