On Wednesday, the Baltimore City Youth Fund announced its year-one grant awardees and among the recipients are several OSI-Baltimore grantees and organizations founded by OSI Community Fellows.
Among the awardees was Afrikan Youth Alchemy Inc. (founded by 2009 Fellow Tre Subira), Baltimore Youth Arts (founded by 2016 Fellow Gianna Rodriguez), Intersection of Change (a part of Jubliee Arts, which 2009 Fellow Melissa Rouf and 2017 Fellow Kim Loper have partnered with), Sisters-In-Law Incorporated, (founded by 2015 Fellow Darlene Crider), Soccer Without Borders (founded by 2011 Fellow Jill Pardini), Wide Angle Youth Media (founded by 2001 Fellow Gin Ferrara and a current OSI-Baltimore grantee), Youth Empowered Society (founded by 2011 Fellow Lara Law), and Youth Resiliency Institute (founded by 2017 Fellow Eric Jackson).
In addition, to Wide Angle Youth Media, other current OSI grantees to receive funding from the Baltimore Youth Fund include Communities United, CASA, Civic Works, and the No Boundaries Coalition.
