Today, Open Society Institute is proud to launch the new osibaltimore.org!
Besides being beautiful, with bigger, brighter pictures, and better organized, with a new, more intuitive structure, our redesigned website includes several specific upgrades and new features that make it easier to use and more helpful, including the following:
- Grants Database – For the first time, Open Society Institute’s website includes a searchable database of our grants, which can be filtered by program, amount, and year. The database is based on the new Open Society Foundations grants database, but only includes local grants. Currently, the database only includes grants dating back to 2016, but more historical data will be added in the coming months.
- Our program pages are more complete, and now include listings and contact info for program staff and a list of recent grants.
- The full website is now available in Spanish! Toggle between languages by clicking “EN | ES” on the top-right corner of any page.
- We have added a page on Our Grantmaking Process, which explains how we identify grantees and offers guidance for groups that want to submit a letter of inquiry.
Please take some time to review the site and let us know if you have any feedback or questions!
