This week, ShareBaby Baby Pantry, the program 2016 Community Fellow Eliseba Osore expanded as part of her fellowship, recently moved to a larger space in the Woodberry neighborhood. Osore (right) and ShareBaby Executive Director Amino Ross are pictured here at opening of the new space, which will allow the program to expand its efforts.
ShareBaby, an established Maryland nonprofit, provides diapers, clothing and other basic goods to organizations that work with families in need such as House of Ruth, Sarah’s Hope, and the International Rescue Committee (IRC). Osore, ShareBaby’s program director, used her fellowship to develop the Baby Pantry, which focuses on collecting baby-related items from people who longer need them and get them to women and families who do.
