On Friday, as part of a program sponsored by 2016 OSI Community Fellow Deborah Ramsey’s Unified Efforts, which focuses on out-of-school time violence and bullying prevention, one Forest Park High School student became Baltimore City’s Police Commissioner for a Day.
Check out the great video of highlights from his day on WBAL.
As part of her fellowship, Ramsey, who is a retired police officer, expanded Unified Efforts and established the Penn North Violence Prevention Youth Center in West Baltimore to formalize the free violence prevention programs she had been doing since she left the force in 1994.
